Silly daddy!

I asked Dan to change Carly's diaper. When he brought her back into the room something was missing.........................

................daddy forgot to put another diaper on, oops! To quote Dan, "I thought it was a pretty quick diaper change." I guess it's a good thing that baby bums are so cute, especially when they are your babies bums. We had a good laugh over this one!

Christmas

We had a very good Christmas this year. We feel really spoiled. The girls got a ton of really great stuff, and so did Dan and I.
We forgot to take pictures of the girls opening presents, but we did video record them! My brother and sister-in-law have a really good camera and were taking pics when the whole family was opening presents, so I will have to share later (sorry).
This day did make me realize how important nap time really is.........(pics to come).........

My parents rule!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I think my parents are the best. They are always willing to babysit when Dan and I need to go somewhere "real fast." And I know they love not only me and my kids, but Dan too. I am so glad that they are willing to let me and my family stay with them until we have somewhere else to go, especially during this busy holiday season with everyone coming to stay with them.

Thanks mom and dad! We sure love you.

8. Dan cringes every time I "post" something with grammatical errors! He wants me to ALWAYS fix them. I tell him that not everyone is as obsessed with being grammatically correct as he is.

11. I really lucked out with Dan. He is the most selfless, easy going, will do anything for you kind of person
12. I love when Dan calls me sexy (especially when I am pregnant), which is on a daily basis!

31. Something happened to me in high school with a bunch of "friends" (they stopped being my friends and I don't have any clue what I did to make them stop) that has made me very socially awkward (I feel like I am always being judged by people, but mostly by other girls).
32. I want my children to have and be better friends then I had/was when I was growing up

34. I feel bad that I don't have more friends that have kids my kids ages (again I feel socially awkward and don't know how to make friends)
35. I don't know how to walk in high heels and I so want to wear them all the time. I think they are very cute.

37. I'm a very slow reader. When I read I have to "take it all in" so I read slow so I can absorb every detail. However, I read the Twilight Series books with in 10 days (that's fast for me)!
38. I can't wait for the 4th book of the Twilight Series to come out next year sometime
39. I think I've seen every "Cycle" of ANTM (America's Next Top Model) except for the first or second one! I don't know why I'm so addicted to it. I can predict who's going to win just by knowing who won last season.
40. I love to sing. I sing all the time (more so when I was younger, you couldn't shut me up). I sing in the car and I don't care if people know that I'm singing!
41. I love to dance, especially with my kids!
42. I can be very shy when there is a large group of people (especially if there are a lot of girls).
43. I loved being pregnant, both times!
44. I loved the whole experience of going into labor with Hailey and the whole process of the delivery!
45. A week after Hailey was born the stitches tore out of my 4th degree laceration! I couldn't be sewn back up because the tissue was too thin. I had to heal from the inside out and because of that I had to be on a liquid diet for 6 weeks, no fun.
46. I had Carly by c-section, I still kinda feel bad about not getting to experience the whole labor and delivery thing. However I know it was the best choice especially after what happened with Hailey's delivery.
47. I can be selfish
48. I've only taken Carly to get her pictures taken once and she's 11 months old.
49. I'm very grateful to my parents for letting us live with them until our house that's in Arizona sells
50. I can't wait to move out of my parents house!
51. I have so many aspirations to make/do things and most of them never get done

78. I love how Hailey wakes me up in the morning by hitting the bed right next to me and says, "Wake up mama! Here are your glasses." as she hands me my glasses
79. I got over a really bad habit of scratching my legs to the point of bleeding this past summer
80. It made me realize that I LOVE wearing shorts during the summer, because before I would always have to wear pants during the summer because my legs were so scratched up and terrible looking!
81. I think I look better when I have a tan, even though it's been like 10 years since I've had one
82. I love thrill rides
83. I would love to take a vacation visiting various theme parks that have tons of rides
84. I get really paranoid about things, it drives Dan crazy sometimes
85. When I lived in AZ I would go places with out make up on because I knew I wouldn't run into anyone I knew
86. Now that I live in Utah again I can't go anywhere with out make up on in case I do run into someone I know
87. I wish I knew how to really apply make up (I just pretend I know how)
88. I would love to find a hair style that I loved that I didn't have to do much to, I'm talking wash and dry and that's it
89. I hardly use any hair product (Dan uses more than I do and he only uses gel)
90. Okay sometimes I do use hair spray
91. For some reason I like to take and be given credit for things, i.e. I showed that person that thing, it was me that brought it to their attention! Silly huh?

93. I wish I would have pierced Hailey's ears when she was a baby cause she was so bald and was mistaken for a boy until she was 2 1/2
94. I really don't like calling people on the phone, I get so nervous and tongue tide and sound stupid, even if it's calling my family
95. By the time I've posted this I've probably read and re-read it several times to make sure I like what I've said, I do that with emails too, I'm kinda vain like that
96. When I'm hanging out with other mom's I pay attention to how they interact with their children so I can pick up some new parenting skills
97. When I'm talking to someone and Hailey interrupts us I stop talking to that person to listen to what Hailey has to say because I feel that she is more important than the person I'm talking too, sorry if you think that's rude
98. I wore braces on my teeth for about 3 years, I'm glad my parents let me get them because I think my smile is one of my best assets
99. I am getting very bad "smile lines" around my eyes the older I get
100. I now weigh less than I did when I graduated from high school
101. I can name all eight of the Disney Princesses, so can Hailey
102. I can tell you which song goes along with each of the Disney Princesses, so can Hailey
103. I am obsessed with checking things out from the library, mostly music and dvds
104. I HAVE to do the laundry because it HAS to be done my way

Okay, so I know my blog has been kinda boring lately, sorry. So, I've put lots of pictures on this post for ya!

A couple of weekends ago we went to Temple Square and had my brother and sis-in-law take some pictures of us. Afterwards we went to their place and had hot chocolate, yum, and hung out. Poor Carly and her orange nose. I hope it goes away soon.

So get this. I was at the Relief Society Christmas party tonight (did you get that, Relief Society, not Young Womens), and one of the older women in my ward came up to me and said, "do you know who you look like?" and I said, "um, nope" and she said, "you look just like that girl Hannah Montana!" Say what? I don't think I look in the least bit like her, but whatever lady. So the question in my head is, do I take that as a complement because I am 27 and have two babies , or should I be upset by this comment because I am 27 and have two babies (do I really look like I'm 15, or worse, younger than that?)?!?
