Some things they say

I just want to write this down so I don't forget.

I asked Carly when her hair got so brown the other morning when I was doing it, and she said, "from Cocoa Puffs."

Hailey has started the "what does that mean" phase of life. It's really has me hoping that I will be able to answer all of those questions she has for me.

I was in the bathroom at my moms while Hailey was washing her hands and she asked me what smell the soap was and I told her it was garden herb. Then she said, "Mmmmm, I love it, it smells so good. I can't stand up for the smell." Then I laughed and she asked, "what does that mean mom?" So I laughed some more. I think she meant that she can't stand the smell, which is funny cause she said she loved the smell!! As we were walking out of the bathroom she said, "It smells like vegetables!" :) Silly girl.

Last night Hailey was dancing before bed and she said, "I need water, my head is leaking." She meant that she was sweating.

Hailey's preschool graduation

Kindergarten here we come!
Hailey graduated from preschool today!
I didn't cry, I was so surprised.

This makes it official!
For some reason my computer wouldn't let me rotate this picture.

Everyone in her class got a yearbook just like this.
If you look close you will see that my cute little Hailey is the one that drew the leopard!
It's so cute, but I might be a little bias on that comment!

Walking into the room

Singing some of the songs they learned.

Getting her "diploma"

Stinker wouldn't smile.

Flashback!

My grandma, who we (everyone in my family) call Momo, gave me a little photo album recently and in it was this gem of a picture! I wish it scanned better than this though.

Look how cute my little Hailey bug is!

I think I'm a little over 7 months pregnant with Carly here. *The Bug used to be happy like this all the time. I sorta miss it. I wish she would smile like this now, it's so cute!

Look how she has no hair!

*I'm not saying that she's not happy most of the time. It's just the older she gets the more moody she gets!

Ellie at 6 months

Ellie is getting so big so fast! She's such a cute little stinker, don'tcha think?
Her stats at 6 months (my dr. doesn't do %s anymore, does yours?):
Weight, 13.9 pounds
Height, 25.5 inches
Head, 42.3 cm

The Bumbo, sometimes she likes it, sometimes she doesn't!

So sweet.

First "meal"
And yes, that is a highchair you see in the background.
And yes, she's in the Bumbo that is on the table!
And yes, I know they have trays that attach to the Bumbo!

Hmmmmm, maybe it's not so bad

Oh yeah, I like it!

Here's a little video of her doing her favorite thing right now!

Seriously?

I don't mean to be rude, but I laughed when I saw this. Would you use one of these? I think it looks ridiculous, sorry.
Here's what they have to say......
Modern Bonnets for Breastfeeding Babes
MoBoleez hats are based on a simple, fun idea.
The idea? Design a hat just for the breastfeeding baby, with a tiny little head and great big brim that gives mom a little privacy and shields baby from distracting lights or noise.
The fun? Super soft, all-natural fabrics, baby-friendly colours, and beautiful, humorous illustrations for the top of the head (visible when breastfeeding of course!) And, lift up the brim to see a little message from baby!
Makes a perfect baby shower gift!
PS I will get to updating my blog soon!

Haiti

Feel like making a donation?
Go here and make sure to let them know under special instructions that it's for Utah Hospital Task Force.
Dan served his 2-year LDS mission in Haiti. This is very close to his heart. This group based out of Utah and they need more donations for all the volunteers to be able to go help.
More info about what's going on here.
