Dan on the news...again!

Maybe you saw this story last night, maybe you didn't.

Channel 4 went to my husbands work yesterday to do a story on teachers. What does that have to do with my husbands work? You can watch the clip to find out!!!

Also, I hope you like the nice boob shot they get of the teacher! :D

We laughed pretty hard about it! Teehee!

I post this because I think my husbands sexy and I love him and think he does a good job at work and I think he looks good on TV! :)

Plus it's my blog and I can post what I want, so there! :P*

Stats

I guess I forgot to give out the stats on Ellie Ruth, oops!
She was 7 pounds 6 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long!
So a good size baby for being a little early.

Some pics

So, most of you know that I really REALLY wanted to have this baby on 9/9/09, but I was told by my doctor that that was too early to have her (I was scheduling a c-section), so we settled on the 15th of Sept instead. Well, on Tuesday night (9/8) I started having contractions. I couldn't sleep because they were so strong and pretty close together! I probably got 3 total hours of sleep that night. Anyway, I didn't wake Dan up because I really just thought they were braxton hicks contractions. So when he woke up in the morning I told him that I'd been having contractions and that they were pretty close and sorta intense. So he went to work as I stayed home and packed bags and got ready for the day. I called my parents around 730am to ask them if they could come pick me up and take me and the girls to Dan's work so that Dan and I could go to the hospital just to be sure these contractions weren't the real deal. So we (Dan and I) got to the hospital around 930amish, and they put the monitors on me and the contractions were coming around every 3-4 minutes. So then they checked me and I was dilated to a 3 1/2. So then they contacted the dr and they told me that I was going to have a baby that day! They didn't know when though. So they asked me when I last ate and since it hadn't been since the night before the next thing we knew we were being put in the L&D room! So a little after 12pm, and by little after I mean like 12:05 they came and took me back to the OR and Ellie was born at 12:31pm! I got back to the room just before 1pm! Talk about quick. It was kind of a crazy day! Oh, and yes, I'm so excited that we got to have her on 9/9/09! Sorry if this doesn't make sense. I'm kinda out of it right now. Anyway, on to the pictures:

This is Dan right before they took me back (notice the clock in the background)!

First time to see Ellie

The three of us

Pretty girl

Look at that hair! Can you believe it? I still can't.
It actually looks like she has blond highlights, it's so cute!

Hailey holding Ellie for the first time. She sure loves her baby sister.

Carly looking at Ellie. She's not so sure she likes her yet.
She did hold her yesterday though I'll post those pics later.

This is my nephew Ethan. He LOVES Ellie. It's so cute. He's decided to name her Tiny! :)
Anyway, we are all doing good. I'll try to post more pictures later.

Some random stuff

The girls enjoyed playing in the sprinkler one afternoon.

I love this picture of Hailey in mid-flight cause it look like she's jumping so high!

Soakin' wet.

Aren't they cute?

Hailey started dance class last week.

Carly was playing so cute, I tried to get some pictures of her,

but she didn't want to "say cheese" her words, not mine.

Someone has dropped.

Ellie in the belly!

(Thank you mom for good genes. No stretchmarks!)

I really would love to have her tomorrow (9/9/09), but my doc said it was too early, so we have a c-section scheduled for next week, the 15th! That's one week from today!
