She's a pro!
Who knew?
Okay, she's only a pro at throwing, but still, I think she's pretty good,
for her first time playing!

Saturday
Thanks to Naima's mom who got a free ticket for us, Hailey and I got to go see the Tinkerbell movie in a theater even though it will only be released on DVD! It was fun. We got popcorn and a drink. And the Disney rep had two boxes full of fairy wings! It wasn't as crowded as I think they had hopped, so they had lots left over. We got a few. Let me just say, this was a very cute movie. I would love to own it. Maybe it will be a b-day or Christmas present for the girls. Oh and thanks to Dano who stayed home with Carly, who really could've gone, but I didn't want to have to chase the Peanut around the whole time. This is on our way up to the top.
Actually not us, we didn't invite a photographer with us, but that was going to be us in just a few short minutes!
The buildings in the top left of the picture are the Tanger Outlets.
This was at the top too!
Here we are getting ready to ride.
Okay, so again that's not us, but you could imagine, right?
Also, those were two dudes working the ride. The one's hair is clear to his butt!
Look close they are in the middle of the pic.
This was so fun. I recommend it to anyone. Well, anyone that's over 100 pounds, but not more than 275 pounds. They do have another zipline that you can be at least 50 pounds, but it's not as high.
We have tickets to do the bobsled too, but the bobsled track is not operating at this time.
~~~~~~~~~
So we headed down the mountain to do some shopping for Dano (remember he's recently lost 25 pounds?). We scored. He got some pants and shirts that were well needed!
This was a fun day. Thanks Russ and Jolene for watching the girls most of the day.
Bum or Butt? Toot or Fart?
Okay, so I don't have any problems saying butt or fart, but when I had Hailey and then Carly I couldn't say to them "did you fart?" or "look at that cute little butt!" It just didn't seem to work. So I replaced them with the words toot and bum. So then when they started talking and they would say toot and bum I thought that was kinda cute. Then the other day Hailey said to me, "Hey mom, I'm sitting on my butt!" Then she looked at me to see my reaction to the word she just said, like it was a swear word. So I just said to her, "It's okay to say butt at home, but when you are around other people you say bum." So then I got to thinking, what words offend people? I remember a time when Hailey was in nursery at church and I heard the leader say, "Okay everyone sit down on your butt." and I felt a little offended cause I'd never used that word with my child before. So, if my almost 4 year old were to say to your kid about or the same age, "I just fell on my butt and it hurt!" or "I think someone farted and it stinks." would you be offended? I still use toot and bum with my kids, but I don't think it's wrong if Hailey wants to call her bum a butt or a toot a fart. So what do you think?
Husband tag
So Ann tagged me, however, I've already done this tag, so I thought I would just take a few minutes to go on and on about Dan.
Dan is such a stud. He's recently lost 25 pounds! I'm so proud of him. I mean I've always thought he was sexy, but now he's even more sexy, rarr rarr! He is the best husband any girl could have. He does the dishes and takes out the garbage and has NEVER left the toilet seat up! He gets mad at me when I don't close the lid after I've used it! Anyway, I could go on and on about all the things I love about him, but I think that would probably bore you, so I will just end it with this; I love him the most for loving me. I'm so lucky.
Love you babe.
Too cute not to share
Then it clicked in my brain! So I told grandma (my mom) that she was talking about the queen size blow up bed! And so I guess since queens and princesses are in the same category (royalty), and she forgot it was called a queen bed, why not call it a princess bed?
When?
When did Hailey get so big that she has to try clothes on before we buy them?
When did she learn that she can do things by her self, i.e. put a new dvd in the player and start it up with the remote?
When did she learn to lie?
When did she learn how to get on my last nerve?
When did she learn to say "I'm sorry I did that." with out me having to ask her too?
When did she learn that if Carly doesn't like something she doesn't it like it too?
When did she learn that I will always forgive her when she's done something bad?
When did she learn how to cheer me up when I'm feeling a little sad?
When did she learn how to be funny?
When did she learn how to pose in the mirror?
When did she learn how to say "I love you" at just the right moments?
When did I blink and she was so grown up (well, for her age)?
I love you Buggie. I always will. Even if you think I have a big bum (read Hailey Quote on sidebar)! :) Thanks for teaching me how to be a good mom. Thanks for all the times you say "Mom. Mom. Mom. Mom." and then I say, "WHAT?" and you say very sweetly, "I love you!" Means a lot to me sweetie. Thanks for being such a great big sisters to Carly. She loves you so much. She wants to do everything you can do. And thanks for loving dad too. He loves when you sing the "I'm so glad when daddy comes home" song. It's so cute. Thanks for getting so excited about a new nightgown that has some of the princesses on it. Your reaction was priceless! Please always remember,
I love you <---------this----------> much, and more
Yeeeeaaaah
I've said for a long long time that you can end ANY song with yeah or oh yeah! And my husband, who was my boy friend at the time pointed out to me that Adam Duritz of Counting Crows would agree with me. It wasn't until a couple of days ago I remembered because we were driving in my husbands car and he was on a Crows kick. I've made a little sampling for you to peruse and see for your self.
Oh and also try it next time you are singing a song. I promise it works, i.e. "You are my sunshine. My only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are grey. You'll never know dear how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away. Ooooh yeeaaah."
Rain King (of course) from August and Everything After
A Long December from Recovering the Satellites
American Girls from Hard Candy
and
>
Sundays from Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings -which I put on the list because it faintly sounds like he is saying yeah at the end, so I counted it as such.
A tag, sort of
I saw this on Tiburon's blog and thought it would be fun to do.
So here's the deal, you go to your picture files, open the fourth folder, and then open the fourth picture and write about it. In my case it was the fourth folder and the fourth folder under that folder and THEN the fourth picture, it's just the way I keep the pics organized....anyway....
This is the helmet my dad was wearing when an ATV landed on his head earlier this year. I blogged all about it. It was in February. He was in the hospital in Arizona for two months. What a scary time in our lives. My dad is a true example of miracles happening. And it increased my faith in priesthood blessings, fasting, and prayers on others behalf. Although my dad still has moments that he's not "him self" I know it's because of the wonderful support we as a family had from family, friends, ward members, co-workers, and especially from The Lord that my dad is hear with us today.
I just want to take a little time again and thank everyone for their support for my dads recovery. It means so much to our family.
Okay, so now anyone that would like to be "tagged," you're it!
