I am thankful for

I know most of my posts have been about Hailey lately, so I feel like I should share a little about Carly. She is getting so big so fast. She loves giving kisses, saying hi while waving, screaming at the top of her lungs (I'm talking glass shattering, hurt your ears scream!), trying to do whatever it is Hailey is doing, cruising around everything, putting EVERYTHING in her mouth, she also really loves Hailey, her dada, and her mama.
Lately when I lay her down for her second nap she just lay's there saying "Hieeee, hieeee, hieeee" for a long time and then crys for me to come and get her. Usually when I go in the room she has thrown her binky and her little animal she sleeps with overboard. By then it's almost time for her to eat again so I keep her up until I feed her and then put her down.
Here she is on Hailey's birthday. Notice in this clip that Hailey sings, "Dear Hailey Bug...." I think I have a couple of very cute kiddos.
And this is her playing with the Fridge Phonics, like I said before, she loves to put everything in her mouth.

So I was in the girls room tonight sorting through boxes of clothes (Hailey's old clothes for Carly now) while the girls were in there playing. I kept hearing Hailey say the name "Cheyenne" I just figured it was because at church on Sunday we introduced Hailey to a girl in Dan's Sunday School class whose name was Cheyenne, and I thought she just must have remembered her name. Well I listened a little closer to Hailey and she was saying "Ok Cheyenne, you sit there and the princesses (she has the Plush Disney Princesses) sit there. I'm gonna tell a story book, Once upon a time there was Cinderella. She wanted to go to a ball, but she couldn't go........" So then I asked her who Cheyenne was and she said, "That girl" as she pointed kinda near her princesses. So I asked her "Is she one of the princesses?" and she said, "No, she's a girl, she's right there." And I said what does she look like and she said, "She's got blue and brown, and pink and brown pants (totally a three-year-old answer)." So I guess Hailey has an imaginary friend named Cheyenne! I'll keep you posted on whether or not we hear about her again.

Such a big girl riding all by herself. I almost started crying while she was on this ride cause it made me realize that she was big enough to do it by her self. When did she get so big?

To compare it to another ride it was like the Musik Express at Lagoon, except it goes forwards and backwards and isn't as big.
This was the expression on her face on this ride the whole time. Dan and I were laughing so hard, it was funny.

On Hailey's birthday I took her to get her first professional hair cut. Dan's sister Angi has a salon in her home (which she is in the middle of painting, hence the two toned wall in the background), so we got Angi to do it for us. I was sad to see Hailey's hair go because it has taken her so long to actually get hair, but it really does look better.

I can't believe my little girl is 3 today! Where does the time go? It seems like I just had her. I am so blessed to have Hailey in my life. Happy 3rd Birthday!

Happy 6th Anniversary to Dan and me. Wow 6 years! Love you Bubba (a nickname I call Dan. When we were first married I used to call him dahlin' {if any of you read The Ya Ya Sisterhood book, you know where I got that} and Dan hated it when I called him that, so I came up with Bubba. Sounds more masculine, right? Anyway, So I call him Bubba or Bubb. Don't know if he likes the name any more than Dahlin', but I guess I would've known by now if he disliked it {hopefully}).
I love you sooooooooooooooooooooooooo........ much Bubb. Thanks for being my #1. You are my best friend, and the best darn friend anyone could've asked for! Thanks for giving me the best things ever (our kids, incase you needed help in knowing what that was), I couldn't have had them with out you (you are probably thinking "No Duh!", but I mean it). Thanks for loving me unconditionally without thinking. Thanks for "thinking you met your match" when you saw my profile all those many years ago on datelds.com (a website I don't even think exists anymore!). You are the best husband any girl could ask for. You are also the best dad. It's because of dads like you that no wonder babies first words are "Dada" (seriously)! Thanks for EVERYTHING you do for me and the girls. Like I've said many times before, I love your guts and your nuts (sorry if that's too much info, especially for the internet, but I have to express how I feel)!

So I finally went and got myself a flu shot. The last in my family, last the best of all the game I guess. I forgot about the pain you feel in your arm afterwards (kinda like how you forget what being pregnant is like, especially in the 9th month, and forgetting is how you end up with more than one child!)! Ouch I feel like I got slugged in the arm by an extremely strong individual (and that's after taking 800mg of Ibuprofen!). But I should say that I will be very happy with the result of not getting extremely sick, even if I still do get the flu it shouldn't be as sever. And in the end, I'm very glad I got one (also like being pregnant, the end result is always the best, and truly and honestly that's why we have more than one child!).

Yesterday was a very fun day! The girls looked absolutely adorable. Hailey was (as you can see) dressed as Cinderella, and Carly was a cute little fairy bug. Oh, and I was dressed up as Princess Mommy!
