St Patricks Day

So my cute SIL Kristy is very creative and last year she had her son build a Leprechaun trap to see if he could catch one. Well he wasn't lucky enough and didn't catch one, so he tried again this year. My kids (Hailey) were lucky and since they were in town over St Patty's day they got to have a sleep over at my parents and help build the trap this year!

The cute trap they built.
They used lucky charms to try and get the leprechaun get onto the wax paper and fall into the hole!

All the kids with the trap.
Hailey was so excited! She couldn't wait to catch the little leopard (that's what she kept calling it) she was going to bring it home with her and make it a bed!

Well the leprechaun was a little too smart and saw right through the trap! He left foot prints all over. And left candy for all the kids. He even turned the milk green!

The kids that morning

Hailey and Ethan checkin' out their loot!

Kirsty made these cute little rainbows that had the kids gold under them!
She had also printed up a cute little letter from the Leprechaun.
Thanks Kristy for letting my kids in on the St Patricks Day fun!

That's really cute. Taylor learned about the holiday more this year & kept wishing to catch him. We'll have to remember this for next year.

That is a cute idea! My kids don't know what a leprachaun is- I'm too boring to play along I guess.

That is so clever. I'm always wondering what I can do with St Patty's to make it a cooler holiday.
